7th European Quilt Triennial i in Haslach, Austria  May 11 - October 30, 2019 


The 7th European Quilt Triennial/ EQT 7 has completed two museal venues in Germany and is now staying in the Textile Center of Haslach, Austria. With 41 artworks selected by a jury from 161 submissions the exhibition provides a great insight into the contemporary art quilt scene. Katriina is represented with her piece “At Crossroads” #1 (in left). Due to the Haslach hosting except its own yearly symposium the annual conference of the European Textile Network/ETN (July 27 – 31) EQT 7 will be a part of a special program addressed for textile enthusiasts and experts from all over the world. Katriina´s work at the International Quilt Study Centre Museum (IQSCM), Nebraska, USA


A collection of Katriina´s work has been acquired in the permanent collection of the Museum of the International Quilt Study Centre/ IQSCM, an affiliate to the University of Lincoln-Nebraska, USA. The acquisition covers work from the early days of Katriina´s artist career to the recent years.


IQSCM is a leading establishment within the field. The centre was founded with support of a major donation in 1997 with the exclusive goal to exhibit, present and preserve traditional and modern artistic expressions of quilting and quilt art world wide. The work maintained includes academic research programs.
